Donating wildlife recordings to the Sound Archive

We welcome wildlife recordings from amateur recordists and professional zoologists alike. Species recordings of any kind of animal as well as natural ambient recordings and nature sound effects, from anywhere in the world, are needed.

Nearly all the recordings in the collection have been given by individual recordists or institutions. Valuable support is received from members of the Wildlife Sound Recording Society in Britain. Offers of material from all sources are very welcome, and all rights are protected by agreements governing conditions of use. By depositing recordings, contributors ensure that their work is preserved for research, education and the enjoyment of natural sounds throughout the world.

For more details please consult the 'Guide to donating wildlife sound recordings' (PDF format).
