TalkScience @ the BL: Research Evaluation - Whose Impact is it Anyway?
When: Tue 19 Jun 2012, 18.20 - 20.30
Where: Staff Restaurant, British Library
Price: £5
A panel discussion chaired by William Cullerne Bown (Founder and Publisher of Research Fortnight) with:

Some of the topics to be considered include:
• What do we mean by research impact and can we ever truly measure it?
• Is all impact equal? How are different forms assessed and weighted?
• How does impact fit into the UK’s policy and research agendas?
• Is measuring impact about improvement to society or solely economic return on public investment?
This event is brought to you in partnership with the Society of Biology.
